Quest 19: Welcome Home Astraeus and Boreas!

Hello everyone I'm back. Sorry for the long wait and not really anymore word. Everything in my life went haywire.. My Grandma, my Dad, and me got sick. Things were crazy. @_@ Well, on a better note my Dollzone, yellow skinned Brant and Dollzone, pink skinned Lankui were shipped on the 25th and they came home yesterday on the 28th. Astraeus (Brant) is so handsome!! He looks even better than he did in the photos! >3< And Boreas (Lankui) Is absolutely adorable. ::Flails:: Eos is very happy to have her hubby and son home. Buuut.. I don't think Rhiannon is too happy about her new brother in law... But she LOVES her little nephew. Hee Hee! Who wouldn't love a face like that.. Any who, here is the box opening. Quest 18: Welcome Home Eos!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Rhiannon and I went on our first dolly meet. It was awesome. My friend Lisa was able to come and she is now wanting to get her own dolly. Also on 01/21/12 I got an email that Eos (DZ Clovera) was shipped. Yaaaay! Then after work, yesterday 01/24/12, I called my mom and she asked me to guess what just came in the mail. I didn't think it was Eos because there was no way she came in that quick. So I thought and thought and asked, "Taxes?" My Mom laughed and hinted,"It was delivered by UPS..." I then freaked out and spun in circles outside my work. Hah Hah! So many people were staring. But I didn't care I was ecstatic! So I drove home and opened the box and took pictures. Quest 17: News, Names, and Dolly Stuff

At last I can wipes my tears away and cheer for I am a very proud lady! I have restrung Rhiannon! Woot!! ::Dramatic music plays:: Now how did I do this you ask? Well with a wire hanger, long nosed pliers, my not so strong arm, and my pure tenacity; I did it! I don't know if I strung her tight enough. I do know she's strung tighter than she was when she arrived. I was told she was strung loosely so yeaaaaah... She poses A LOT better now. XD Rhiannon is able to venture out of her body bag once again. We are both very happy. ^_^

On other news, I know what I'm going to name my new dolly. Her name is going to be Eos! Yes Eos is the name of the Goddess of the dawn (Evening Star), but she is also an original character of mine. I'm slowly working on it and maybe I'll post parts of it some day.. >_> All I'm really gonna need are her wings, Gold eyes, and possibly to make an outfit.

::Heaves a heavy sigh:: I also was kinda bad as of late... V_V I kind of went on a shopping spree because I got a little depressed. I got a few-a lot of dolly stuff. O_o A LOT of dolly stuff... ::Cringes:: I need a hug. T_T ::Clears throat:: The website I made REALLY happy was CoolCat. They are a great sight if you want to buy wigs, clothes, eyes, bags, and such for your dolls. What's great is they have stuff for BJD's, Volks DD's, Blythes, and Pullips. Anyway I first planned on getting the Nylon Carrying Bag, Face Guard, Eye Putty, Wig Fix Stick, and a wig brush. Then I saw the clothes and accessories. I got two pares of lace underwear for Rhiannon and Eos. I bought a really pretty Pink outfit made by Dandelion (shirt, leggings, skirt). And I got the Pink/White Lolita shoes that matched. I thinks that's all I bought... But I'm currently trying to drag myself away from a pair of jeans and really expensive gold glass eyes that I found. Oy its so painful, Help Meh!! @_@ Now what really sucks is I'm already thinking of buying a boy from Dollzone. Again Nooooo I can't! At least right now.. >:3 Hee Hee! Quest 16: Sad News And New Addition...

Hello everyone, guess what I'm finally back! Yaaay! >w< But with sad news... On the morning of AFO I was getting ready to dress Rhiannon for her first fun filled day, but it started off with disaster. When I picked her up out of her cushions her stringing came loose and her arms and legs fell. I was soo sad.. The bad thing is I don't know how to restring her. Apparently restringing a Bobobie is different from the rest. I have seen some tutorials on YouTube, but I'm terrified of messing her up. Also, I don't have all of the tools I need. >_> I will be working on restringing Rhiannon soon hopefully.

On a more positive note there is going to be a new addition to the dolly family. Haven't thought up a name yet. I just ordered her from Denver Doll Emporium. She is the Clovera 58cm girl from DollZone. I got the full set with has a lacy blue and white Lolita type dress with a small flower headdress. The shoes are soo pretty!! The set comes with a blond wig but I bought an extra pink wig. I know it sounds strange but I think it'll be cute. The pink wig will bring out the pink in the face up. A little extra I'm getting is a book, "Ball Jointed Dolls for Beginners". I really want a carrying bag but I can't afford it at the moment, and they don't have it in stock at the moment. I do have to say that every time I've bought from DDE I've had a wonderful experience. Their always very nice and helpful. So I whole heartily recommend Denver Doll Emporium.

Lately I've been watching Alysonsfriend's YouTube channel I Don't Do Subtle! It's really good I'm sad I've missed a year's worth of updates.. I've been away from the computer for a while.. I'll try to continue to update more often. I hope to write to you all soon. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee's!!

Quest 15: Rhiannon's New Look!

Also, Rhiannon went to her first anime convention, AFO. She got so many compliments. She's a little embarrassed, because Rhiannon isn't used to all of the people doting on her.















Here's also a little photo story I thought up. Rhiannon has been meeting all of the other dolls I have around my room. I love porcelain dolls. I have around five or six porcelain dolls plus a My Twin Doll. I hope you enjoy!

Quest 14: New Developments. Yay!

Well, I guess I'm kinda useless... T_T I've came up with her name and it's not even the one everyone voted for. I'm so sorry. I'm going to name her Rhiannon. I think it's such a pretty name! My mom was going to actually name me Rhiannon. I had such a hard time figuring out the perfect name for her, because I'm writing a story about her character. I couldn't figure out a name for her to save my life! Hah hah! Soon I may post some of it on this blog! Just have to finish at least a chapter or two...

Anywho, I'm making a new dress for her. I'm kind of worried about keeping the purple dress on her for too long for fear of staining the resin. But, I don't want her to go naked... O_O I have the fabric and everything. I just have to make the pattern, cut it out, and sew it. It's going to be white with baby blue polka dots. I also have the cutest little bows. They are white with baby blue stripes! Oh, and don't forget the lace! I'll get working on it soon and post pictures. Until then, don't just display your dollies... Play with them!

Quest 13: She's Here!

Sorry, I guess I'm a little late on posting. She actually arrived two day's after she was shipped! I'm very impressed. She arrived at my Grandma's house Saturday.
